The HMF-Series flow meter sounds impressive. By forming a magnetic field within the pipe, it accurately measures the flow of conductive fluids with a conductivity of 5 µS/cm or higher. When the fluid flows through the magnetic field, it generates a voltage that is detected by the electrodes, allowing for precise flow measurement.
This technology is particularly useful in applications where accurate flow measurement is critical, such as in water treatment, chemical processing, and other industrial processes. The high precision of the HMF-Series helps ensure efficient operation and can contribute to better process control.

Operation Principle
The measuring principle of the electromagnetic flowmeter uses Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, which states that "When a conductor moves in a magnetic field, an electromotive force is generated in the conductor in a direction perpendicular to both the magnetic field direction and the direction of movement, and its magnitude is proportional to the magnetic flux density and the speed."
When a conductive fluid flows through a measuring tube and a magnetic field is applied to the measuring tube, an electromotive force proportional to the volumetric flow rate is generated in the direction perpendicular to the magnetic field and the fluid flow according to Fleming's right-hand rule.
By keeping the magnetic flux density constant and measuring the electromotive force, the volumetric flow rate flowing in the tube can be obtained.
