CLIF MOCK Sample Receivers

Sensia offers a comprehensive range of products, including pressure control and rig systems for onshore and offshore drilling, conventional and unconventional land and platform production systems, as well as separation, processing, and treatment systems. Additionally, Sensia provides subsea production and processing systems, measurement systems, and various valves and actuators.

The Measurement Systems Division of Sensia specializes in designing, manufacturing, and distributing measurement and control instrumentation for the global oil and gas and process control industries. This division was established in 2003 through the acquisition and merger of three reputable companies: Barton Instrument Systems, Halliburton Measurement Systems, and PMC Global Industries.

The True-Cut Model RP Receptacle is a robust high-pressure sample container crafted from 316 stainless steel and is available in one, two, and four-quart sizes. This corrosion-resistant receptacle undergoes hydrostatic testing to 2700 PSI and maintains a safe working pressure of 1800 PSI.

Engineered to be piston-balanced, it effectively sustains line pressure on the product during sampling. Teflon® bal seals on the piston serve as a bearing surface and prevent contamination of sampled product from downstream material. The piston houses a stainless steel SV-2 Safety Check Valve set at 100 PSI, allowing for product expansion through the equalizer line when the receptacle is full. A carbon steel pick-up ring enables external sighting of the piston using a provided magnetic locator.

Equipped with three needle valves for sample inlet, sample draw-off, and equalizing tasks, these 1/4-inch valves feature nylon soft seats and specially treated stems to prevent scoring of stem threads and the valve body. An optional level indicator is included for measuring the volume of contents in the RP Receptacle, and a mixing disc ensures thorough mixing of sampled products for homogeneity.
