Our Rosemount Tank Gauging System is a complete and flexible tank gauging solution with SIL2 and SIL 3 certification for the Independent High Level Alarm (IHLA). The radar gauge can be fitted with a 2-in-1 electronic module, requiring only one tank opening to install the radar gauge for both custody transfer level measurement and IHLA with remote Proof-testing. Smart Wireless THUM Adapter with Connection Box

The Smart Wireless THUM adapter is integrated with a connection box, which allows the THUM adapter to be installed on a 2-in. pipe or railing, away from the radar gauge at the best possible tank roof position. The THUM acts as the wireless data link between the radar level gauge and a Smart Wireless Gateway in an IEC 62591 (WirelessHart) network.

Smart Wireless Gateway

The Smart Wireless Gateway is the network manager in all IEC 62591 (WirelessHart)  applications. In a Rosemount Tank Gauging system it provides an interface between the field devices and the TankMaster inventory software or host / DCS systems.

Modbus communications over RS485 or Ethernet provide universal integration and system interoperability.  The optional OPC functionality from the Gateway offers a means to connect to newer systems and applications while providing a richer set of data.

The Smart Wireless Gateway provides industry leading security, scalability, and data reliability.  Layered security ensures that the network stays protected.  Additional devices can be added at anytime.  There is no need to configure communication paths because the Gateway manages the network automatically.  This feature also ensures that IEC 62591 (WirelessHart) field devices have the most reliable path to send data.
