The Bopp & Reuther OD is a precision oval wheel dosing meter developed for the accurate measurement of non-conductive liquids, including oils, demineralized water, and other low-conductivity fluids. Based on a positive displacement measuring principle, it provides a direct volumetric measurement that ensures stable and repeatable results, even for small filling quantities.

One of its key advantages is that it does not require inlet or outlet straight sections, making it highly suitable for compact installations and automated filling systems. With available nominal sizes DN10, DN15, and DN25, it offers a wide range of flow rates from 0.2 to 100 L/min with repeatability up to ±0.1% and accuracy between ±0.25% and ±0.5%.

Constructed from stainless steel housing with PEEK or stainless steel oval wheels, and EPDM or Viton seals, the OD is engineered for long-term durability and process compatibility. It supports liquid temperatures up to 130°C (266°F) and pressures up to 16 bar, making it ideal for demanding dosing and filling environments.

With high-resolution pulse outputs (up to 2000 pulses/L for DN10), the OD can easily integrate with batch controllers or automation systems, providing precise digital feedback for process control. The short dosing times (>250 ms) and ability to handle fillings as low as 10 ml make it ideal for high-speed and high-precision applications in industrial and hygienic settings.
