NUFLO Local Reading Totalizers

The MC Series* flow totalizers serve as add-ons for turbine flowmeters or similar meters that generate pulses to indicate fluid quantity. These totalizers tally each pulse and then adjust the count using a scaling factor to offer the total fluid accumulation and flow rate in the user's chosen units of measure, be it volume, mass, or energy-based units.
 
NuFlo Local Reading Totalizer consist of 2 types:
 
NUFLO MC-I Portable Rate Meter
For turbine meters that do not have their own permanent totalizer or whose output is in doubt, the MC-I provides independent flow rate and total information. It can be used with any turbine brand that has an accessible reluctance pickup sensor recess machined in the body.  The intrinsic safe certification and local keypad allows the operator to enter the meters calibration factor without the need for special precautions.
 
NUFLO MC-II Flow Analyzer
Historically known as the NUFLO MC-II Flow Analyzer the NUFLO MC-II Totalizer provides local flow rate and flow total information from any NUFLO, BARTON turbine meter or other turbine meters with a low amplitude AC signal output.
 

 


NUFLO MC-I Portable Rate Meter

The portable NUFLO MC-I flow totalizer facilitates on-the-spot flow rate checks for flowmeters lacking a permanent totalizer or local display in their turbine electronics. It's effortlessly portable between locations and compatible with turbine flowmeters of various sizes.
 
Leveraging the precision of NUFLO measurement technology, the NUFLO MC-I flow totalizer displays real-time flow rates and cumulative volume, providing valuable insights wherever it's deployed.
 
In most applications, the turbine flowmeter will be permanently installed, and the operator will hold the pickup sensor to the second standard recess that is machined into NUFLO technology liquid flowmeters. In this way, there is no need to remove other existing electronics that may be installed on the flowmeter. The NUFLO MC-I flow totalizer may be used with other turbine brands and styles provided that there is an accessible sensing pocket available.
 
Thanks to low-power microprocessor technology, the flow totalizer can function for at least a year on an alkaline battery pack without needing frequent replacements.
 
With such an extended battery life, the device eliminates the need for a power switch, offering convenience and reliability in operation.

NUFLO MC-II Flow Totalizer

The NUFLO MC-II flow totalizer is designed to locally display flow rate and accumulated flow, featuring distinct and always-on LCD digital displays that receive input from a turbine flowmeter.
 
A single lithium battery residing within the unit supplies power for an impressive three to five years, ensuring long-term functionality without frequent replacement hassles.
 
Teamed up with a turbine flowmeter, the NUFLO MC-II totalizer provides a cost-effective measurement solution, offering efficiency and value in monitoring flow data. 
 
The totalizer allows readings in customizable volumetric units, while flow rates can be measured in various time-based units like seconds, minutes, hours, or days.
 
Calibration of rate and total readings is a breeze with the user-friendly keypad located on the front of the flow totalizer, ensuring accuracy and ease of use.
 
Designed for outdoor installation, the instrument is weather-resistant and requires no extra protection. It can be conveniently mounted directly on the turbine flowmeter or remotely attached, offering flexibility in installation options.
