SIEMENS SITRANS Temperture Transmitters (Field Mounting)

SITRANS TF is available in your choice of a rugged die-cast aluminum or durable stainless-steel housing. It measures signals from resistance thermometers, resistance-type sensors, thermocouples and voltage sensors, and converts the signal into direct current signal or bus signal (Profibus PA or Foundation Fieldbus) in accordance with the sensor characteristics.
The SITRANS TF280 is a field temperature transmitter that transmits the process value per Wireless HART communication.

The field transmitter for rugged industrial environments.
Because of its IP67 protection, SITRANS TF is used in environments too tough for other transmitters.
It measures signals from resistance thermometers, resistance-type sensors, thermocouples and voltage sensors, and converts the signal into direct current signal (HART) or bus signal (Profibus PA, Foundation Fieldbus or Wireless HART) in accordance with the sensor characteristics

The SITRANS TF is a highly robust transmitter designed to handle challenging environments, boasting an IP67 rating. Constructed from durable die-cast aluminum or long-lasting stainless steel, it excels at transforming resistance thermometers, thermocouples, Ohm and mV signals into a load-independent DC current or a digital signal according to Fieldbus standards like Profibus PA or Foundation Fieldbus. The remote-mounted sensor prevents overheating at high temperatures and eliminates vibrations and oscillations associated with long neck tubes and protective pipes. This flexibility allows for easy access and display of measured values on the programmable digital display. Additionally, the SITRANS TF can be used without a transmitter as a versatile field display unit for all 4 to 20 mA signals. Models are available in intrinsically safe or explosion-proof versions, catering to various application requirements

More details

SITRANS TF320 and TF420 are both 2-wire temperature transmitters designed to accommodate various temperature sensors. The TF320 is available in dual chamber and single chamber enclosures, offering universal input compatibility and configurable options via PC, HART 7, or optional local operation. On the other hand, the TF420, also available in dual chamber and single chamber enclosures, includes a HART communication interface and the ability to connect two independent input circuits for redundant operation, along with input drift detection and similar configuration options. These features provide flexibility and redundancy for meeting specific application requirements.
